Kevin Coft

Kevin Coft

CEO (Interim)

Kevin was one of the founding members of the Zenabis team, and has previously acted as CEO of Zenabis. In that role he was responsible for Zenabis achieving Health Canada compliance as a cannabis Licensed Producer.

He is an operational and supply chain professional with over 30 years of international procurement, facility operations, and managerial experience, covering regulatory licensing, construction, strategic analysis, import/export operations, logistics, warehousing, customer relationship management, and business systems. Most recently, Kevin was responsible for the construction build-out of Zenabis facilities across Canada, as Chief Facilities Officer.

He has held previous senior roles in IHL Group and Buy-Low Foods.

Leo Benne

Chief Growing Officer

Mr. Benne is currently the General Manager of Bevo Farms Ltd., the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary. Leo Benne gained advanced knowledge of modern horticultural methods at Rijks Middlebare Tuinbouwscholl in Holland. With experience in the application of computer technology to the production of healthy, high-yield plants, he has been a key figure in the development of Bevo Agro. Leo Benne is a hands on executive, overseeing every stage of the company's operations, from planting to shipping. Leo Benne has been with Bevo for 10 years.

Eric Rasmussen

Chief Financial Officer

Eric brings to Zenabis extensive senior management experience in publicly-listed companies, both in North America and Europe. He has strong corporate and operations finance, internal audit, M&A, and strategic investment experience over a 20-year leadership career within Shawcor, a leading integrated energy services company. He has also been a strategic consultant for Canadian large- and mid-size clients, advising on corporate strategic and financial planning, post-merger integration and business process optimization.

Alan Mayo

Chief Quality & Compliance Officer

Alan brings over 19 years of extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance, with a focus on the application of quality assurance in operations and logistics management in the manufacturing and drug development sectors. Previously, he has worked across global business units to lead the comprehensive implementation of GMP processes and policies, including his most recent role at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Alan has overseen all aspects of quality assurance at manufacturing facilities in the US and Europe, and external contract manufacturers in Latin America. This includes quality control, validation, batch release and tech transfer, while providing effective leadership, resources and support to ensure compliance with GMP and applicable laws. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from the University of Malta and is also eligible to act as a European Union Qualified Person (EU QP).

Olen Vanderleeden (Senior Vice President)

Senior Vice President

Olen Vanderleeden leads all commercial activities at Zenabis. Olen has 20 years of experience leading sales, marketing and operational functions. This management, business development and sales background crosses technology, software and CPG industries, including several years at Energizer. He holds a B.Eng. from UVic and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
